Energy consumption is optimised and constant pressure is guaranteed, even with varying or highly fluctuating consumption. (Unnecessary noises for unnecessary compressed air are done away with. No additional dirt can get into the blowers from the atmosphere.) The “gentle” start-up reduces strain on mechanical components and extends service life. The variable performance range minimises the range of models and thus provides logistical benefits. Accessories such as intake filters and blowdown silencers are optionally available.
Recirculation blowers for inert gases for stringent requirements of technical cleanliness
Gebr. Becker produces radial compressors with magnetic bearings (MAGNATEC) at the main plant in Wuppertal under clean room conditions. With speeds of up to 70,000 rpm, the MAGNATEC blowers can be used, for example, in CO2 lasers for laser outputs of 3 kW to 6 kW, thus covering a wide range of operating points. The use of an optimized rotor disc geometries guarantees exceptional levels of efficiency when combined with high-performance synchronous motors.
MAGNATEC blowers are used everywhere where large volume flows of inert gases are circulated with especially stringent requirements of technical cleanliness; as is the case in the field of electronics, for example.
This maintenance-free bearing technology has made possible for some time now the replacement of the previously implemented high-precision spindle ball bearings. Bearings no longer need to be replaced. All in all, the energy and maintenance costs for the system are significantly lower compared to a compressor with ball bearings.
In addition to turbo radial compressors, Becker also develops complete systems including cooling units, and thus can offer laser manufacturers and users tailor-made solutions according to specified performance parameters.
